“Eradication of Strabism” is a medical project through which we support children and adolescents in daycare centers, family-type social apartments or socially disadvantaged families who have this condition.
In most European countries, strabismus is no longer a medical problem, and children with these ophthalmological disorders are correctly diagnosed at an early age and treated properly, which contributes to a considerable increase in the chances of correction.
In Romania, however, especially among children and adolescents in socially vulnerable environments, strabismus is a serious problem not only with medical implications, but with social and educational implications.
This fact led us to launch in 2008 this project “Eradication of Strabism”.
